Biotec, a leading biotechnology research unit in Thailand, has partnered with Mulberrysoft to develop an innovative platform designed to support pest identification and access to agricultural biological products through Line Official. This platform provides farmers with easy access to essential resources and connects three primary groups: farmers, academics, and biopharmaceutical manufacturers.
The platform acts as a personal assistant for farmers via Line. By simply adding DAPBot as a friend, farmers can receive plant abnormality diagnosis services, including the identification of diseases and pest problems. Additionally, the platform brings together quality and standard biological product manufacturers from across the country.
Mulberrysoft also offers weather measurement services through this platform to enhance the efficient use of biological products. The system disseminates knowledge, warns of pest outbreaks, and helps farmers accurately diagnose issues in their fields. This leads to increased production efficiency and reduced chemical usage, promoting the sustainable use of biological products in Thailand. Overall, this initiative aligns with the BCG policy, aiming to upgrade the Thai agricultural sector to embrace safe and sustainable agricultural practices.
